❤May 2017 IPSY Glam❤ Summer Friday!
Hello My Loverlies!
It is time once again to dig into our IPSY Glam Bag goodies! I absolutely ADORE May's theme & bag! It's Summer Friday, and this bag will be perfect to take wherever you go this summer! The bag is clear plastic, and is adorned with an adorable ice-cream pattern that is both playful and bright. I am a huge summer girl, so if you're like me, then you'll fall in love with this month's bag too!
Lets get into it! Here are my five IPSY items:
1). Manna Kadar Cosmetics-Radiance split pan Bronzer, and Highlighter Duo- I know what you're thinking, if you have one bronzer and highlighter then you have them all right? Wrong. I thought the same thing, but this one is Ah-may-ziiiing! Having these two together is convenient, and will be easy to use when we want that no fuss summery look. Who wants to spend a long time on makeup when there's sun fun to be had, and pools to swim in right? This little baby will give your tan that little extra something, and I think that the highlight would look great on shoulders too if you're rocking that cute off the shoulder look! ❤
2). Pixie By Petra Endless Silky Eye Pen in Opal Overcoat- Okay so I was really hoping I got this shade, I was itching to try it out so bad! It claims to be smudge proof, and man does it mean it. I drew on my hand with it and it took some work to get it to smear. Also, this COLOR! So pretty, and the sun makes it pop in the prettiest way! It glides on like butter, and it reminds me of a glittering beach. I used this in my water line and inner corner for a cool effect. Loving it! ❤
3). Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow volumizing fiber gel- I'll admit I was a bit worried about how this product would work for me personally at first. I Don't really follow the "on trend" brow of the moment, and it looks horrid on me! I have made some bad brow choices in the past, and have finally (and thankfully) realized that a thinner shapely brow plucked neat and tidy suits my face much better. I find a thinner rounder brow frames the face, and opens the eyes. I also have to be very careful of getting them too dark, my brows are pretty light naturally and that tends to work for me. Surprisingly, it's all in how you use it! I tried this guy out, and at first used way too much, but then tried again carefully distributing the product with the small tip of the spooly brush and not putting too much color in the front of the brow it was so quick and easy! Stayed put too! (Also for fun I may or may not have given myself a unibrow to test out how realistic these "fibers" looked, pretty real if you ask me, and hilarious haha). ❤
4). Adesse New York Organic infused nail Lacquer in Surfer Girl- This nail polish has a gel effect, and is a super gorgeous pastel blue hue. A candy colored summer dream! I will say that this polish chipped way faster than I would have liked, but that could just be me. All in all it's a beautiful color. ❤
5). Luxie Beauty Dreamcatcher precision foundation brush 660- Okay so I don't usually use a foundation brush, I just use my hands. But DANG HONEY! This brush is SO soft, and the tapered round shape makes for the easiest and fastest application; plus you can really blend in those hard to reach spaces like the inner corners of the eye, and around the nose. The handle is a cute pastel color, and is perfect to throw into your makeup bag for touch ups, or to store on your vanity to brighten your make-up space. I seriously LOVE this brush!! ❤
